Agatha Ruiz de la Prada, Spanish fashion designer and international fashion icon, famous for her innovative style, for generally bucking the trend and for her colour eccentricity, will be the next high profile figure to lend her support to the Continuous Creativity project organised by comON.
The winner is Nicolas Polli of SUSPI (“Scuola universitaria professionale della Svizzera italiana).

The comON 2012 theme is “Local2Global”, that is “THINK GLOBAL, ACT LOCAL”, where globalization is intertwined with local interests, where local growth goes global and where thinking globally means creating locally.
With this in mind we ask you to come up with a “global” and a “local” tunic, or just one that brings the two ideas together.

A new and important project has been added to the comON 2011 calendar
For privileged access to the 4th ComON. The idea is simple and smart. Each day from 14th October to 22nd October a different designer will be selected from among the creative young people at the international schools to be filmed in key moments of his or her day “as an insider” a special envoy composing a digital diary. A different angle every day to capture with different sensitivities, all the faces of comON, even the most hidden and bizarre.

After making known the names of the 20 finalists of the Nomad Bag competition, we are pleased to be able to publish some of the draft designs which were viewed by the judges and which exceeded all our expectations.
The 'Design the comON poster' competition for IED Moda fashion students has been won by Davide Dilani, who will be presented with his prize, an iPad2, during the cumON week.

The comON WiFi project has the ambitious objective of establishing free connection to the web in the squares and public buildings of the city of Como for true net democracy. This very innovative project has been conceived for the benefit of the citizens of Como who are called upon to take their active part in the initiative. Those of the city who wish to take part can choose on the comON antennae and share their own ADSL line with other people.
