This year it will be the renowned Milan university that chooses the young people attending the industrial design course who most deserve the opportunity to work, in pairs, with one of the companies involved in the comON initiative. comON Design workshop 2011 The selected pairs will be prepared for the company concerned and will go on to draw up prototype ideas for this year’s Nomad Culture by 15th September. It will then be up to the company to decide which project is the most promising and most deserving of realisation. The young designers will then work with the company’s own product department, under the supervision of the tutor, to bring the project into effect. The prototypes themselves shall be presented by the first week of October.
comON Design Exhibition The comON Design Exhibition will show all of the designs and will be officially opened on 14th October at an evocative inauguration at Caserma De Cristoforis in Como. Between November and December the exhibition event will be incorporated into the Milan Triennale. Headed by: Alessandra Salaris, stylist and administrator at the design and architecture department. |
