Megan Lily Clarke
"My name is Megan Clarke and I am a highly motivated, reliable and hardworking graduate from Loughborough University, where I gained a First Class Honours in Printed Textiles. After graduating I had the opportunity to exhibit my final year collection at New Designers and TexPrint, both in London, as well and Premier Vision Paris. My work focuses on a graphic hand painting and drawing aesthetic, which are then translated onto fabrics. My prints are designed for high end Women’s Wear but due to the nature of design can be applied to many different uses. I gain my inspiration from places that I visited and traditional patterns from architecture and natural forms that I photograph while there. Passionate about fashion and print design I thrive on a creative team and work well individually or as part of a team. Even though I am trained in print design I am not only keen to develop these skills within the industry, but also to broaden my experiences in all aspects of the fashion design trade."
